To connect the IT vendors and dealers online, the DQ
Week, Delhi, Asia's first regional infotech business newspaper, has established
a unique platform--DQ Week online dealer community--at its website www.dqweek.com.

A link has been provided at the website through which
the user can access the information regarding dealers. The link would also
provide the profile of the dealer and the entire information regarding the kinds
of products it sells, the principals, its branch offices, service center, etc.

Speaking at the launch held at the capital's India
Habitat Center amidst a gathering of Delhi's prominent dealers, PK Roy, Group
Editor, The DQ Week said, "More and more people are now using Internet to
get the information on any product before purchasing it. It is therefore
necessary for the dealers to go online for better business prospects."

Speaking on the Internet usage in India, Aditya Pant,
Head (Research), IDC India Ltd said, "India is the fastest growing market
in the Asia-Pacific region as far as the Internet usage is concerned and by
2004, it would become the second largest Internet user country in this region
after China." He also added, "e-commerce is catching fast in India but
its adoption is still less. People still are feeling comfortable with the
traditional way of purchasing. B2B is still dominating the e-commerce
market."

According to Asim Raina, Resident Editor, The DQ Week,
the idea behind this online dealer community is to give a platform to dealers
from where they can leverage the power of Internet to boost their business
prospects. "This is yet another service from north India's premier infotech
publication for the dealer community who are driving the Indian IT market."
