Double Intel processor notebooks unveiled at Intel Developer Forum '06

Intel supervisors from US headquarters under­took
intensive visits to notebook manufac­turers - Acer, BenQ, Quanta and Compal
this week-to showcase the new concept notebook model Montevallo. The design
concept of this model is different to the traditional notebook, which uses the
new generation double Intel processors notebook platform. This new model is
expected to bring business opportu­nities to OEM and ODM companies. Intel Deve­loper
Forum displayed its 2006 new concept model, Montevallo on April 10, 2006. Since
2003, Intel has been focusing on desi­g­ning conceptual types of notebooks
each year-in order to keep up with consumers demand. Montevallo, the concept
model uses 64bits Santa Rosa platform to integrate format of WiMax, hard disk
backup, digital TV and AMT technologies and etc to satisfy different demands for
home entertainment and business trip.
