Association of computer traders-Trichy has been awarded the best association for their performance in the last financial year. While everyone's expectations were in Tirupur and Vellore, the Trichy association has bagged the award without much noise.
The whole credit, the association bagging the award goes to the former president Manikandan. Not just him, his peers K Suresh Kumar, who was the secretary and Padmanaban, who was the PRO cum EC member added strength to the team. Right from the day one Manikandan assumed office every plan of the association for the one year was on paper and acted clearly. In many associations, meeting of members itself is rare happening. However, ACTT president and Confed-ITA EC members meet every working day for at least for a coffee, thanks to their office being located just few yards to each other.
Also, the team has split their work within themselves and the president has never interfered in petty things. The association has also associated with banks where clarifications on loans were done. On top of that, besides many issues, the team has successfully concluded their expo.
Also, the Tirupur association's performance during the FY 2012-13 was not like their performance during their previous year where many of the successful projects were done. This has obviously resulted in a tough competition between Vellore and Trichy association.
Suresh Kumar, who was the secretary for the last year has been elected the new president. He being a veteran in service industry is expected to bring some positive changes not just only for Trichy but for the entire region that is bleeding of poor service.
