Digital Waves to start centralized logistics center in Bangalore

Bangalore-based distribution company, Digital Waves, would
soon set up a centralized logistics center in the city. This center will act as
a liaison center for its partners in other cities for distribution of Tyan
Computer Corporation high-performance products and solutions

Digital Waves is a national distributor of Tyan Computer
Corporation. The logistics center will serve the ware-housing needs of Tyan
products and offer technical, sales and post-sales support to the partners
across the country, especially to help them sell Tyan products better

Incidentally, US-based Tyan Computer Corporation is all set
to appoint new channel partners, especially system integrators through Digital
Waves. Tyan currently has 45 certified partners spread across the country and
the new inductees will also be certified on its technologies

Having launched new trans-port server solutions recently,
Tyan is looking to bring more of its high-performance computing products into
India. Said Ray Wang, Senior Sales Manager, Tyan Computer Corporation, “India
is a very important market for us and we would focus on tapping this market and
reaching out to more customers this year. Our latest product — Typhoon - is
one example of getting high performance computing solutions to the user's
desktop. More such products and solutions will be launched throughout 2006.”

Indicating that the new products would bring the best of
technology at very afford-able prices to the customer, Kaushik Sonavala,
Director, Digital Waves said, “2006 would be an year of expansion and we hope
to extend our reach to A- and B-class cities across the country. Our focus would
be on the eastern region, where our presence was not so prominent hitherto.”
Digital Waves' expansion would be both geographical and vertical-wise and it
would target the corporate, banking and scientific computing segments this year
for Tyan products and solutions.
