Digicare plans to add RMA centers across India

Service subsidiary of Smartlink Network Systems, Digicare is increasing its reach pan-India to almost 150 from the current 60+ locations. It is also revamping and re-aligning few of the existing RMA centers.

Talking exclusively to The DQ Week, Nitin Kunkolienker, VP, commercial and administration, Smartlink Network Systems said, "Over the years, Digicare has emerged as a prime service provider across the country. Today, we provide services for product from leading vendors like Asus, Asrock, MSO, Intel, HP and many more." He further added, "We are looking to take this venture to the next level and are considering this as a major business for the company."

Digicare has fully functional centers in 5 major locations including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Goa where the centers provide L1, L2, L3 and other types of services. In addition, Digicare has direct presence in 15 other key locations. In other locations, the company has appointed about 46 DSP partners.

Kunkolienker said, "We are planning to expand 100 centers in the coming 3-4 months and appoint partners who can provide services to customers. We are planning to have more focused approach towards operations and service and through this want to create direct connect with the customers."

Digicare in the coming months plans to increase the number to 150 centers. Kunkolienker said, "The market dynamics are changing and the requirements of customers are changing along with it. Our aim is to reduce the turn around time at each location and we are creating and introducing changes in our logistics and distribution modes to further facilitate our goal achievement. We have adopted a newer format of buffer system which will help us reduce the TAT in each location."

He further added, "We are studying and evaluating warranty and sales patterns in all locations, following which we are working out strategy in each locations to fulfill the local requirement. In case, we don't have a presence in a particular market, we will appoint and train a partner to set up our Digicare center in that market.

Kunkolienker said, "Our aim is create a faster and agile service ecosystem with a focused approach backed by solid support system. We are now expanding and strengthening our Digicare brand."
