Digi Giga announces scheme on VIA motherboards for Athlon 64 processors

Digi Giga Systems Ltd has announced a new channel scheme on its VIA based
motherboard for AMD Athlon 64 processors. Under this scheme, on pur-chase of
every 10 GA-K8VT-800M motherboards, one VIA KM400 chipset mother-board comes
free. This scheme is to reward and encourage channel partners to promote VIA
chipset boards for AMD Athlon 64 processors. This scheme is available through
Tech Pacific India Ltd.

The Gigabyte GA-K8VT800M is an AMD certified mother-board for AMD Athlon 64
processor. The GA-K8VT800M is based on the advanced VIA K8T800 chipset and
incorporates Gigabyte’s expertise in motherboard R&D.

According to the company release, this scheme comes in light of Gigabyte’s
recent announcement to work in close association with VIA to offer better value
motherboards to the Indian market. The companies are working jointly to design
and market solutions, best suited for the Indian market’s require-ments. VIA
chipset based mother-boards cater to a different custo-mer segment and have a
huge market potential by itself.
