Dell partners with Neoteric

The Dell, Neoteric tie-up aims to strengthen Dell's position in over 500 locations, pan-India through Neoteric's distribution facilities

Dell India and national value-added IT distributor Neoteric have partnered for the distribution of Dell's enterprise and workstations products. The tie-up is an effort by Dell to bolster its distribution across emerging markets in the country and is in tandem with Dell's focus on providing its customers with end-to-end IT solutions across markets.

The partnership is the second in quick-succession after Dell joined hands, last October, with the distribution arm of HCL Infosystems - Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services (DDMS).

The latest partnership aims to promote and extend businesses for both DELL and Neoteric. Under this deal, both the companies will collaborate on marketing, sales and technical areas and the overall go-to market activities.

Commenting on the announcement Ajay Kaul, director and GM, Global Commercial Channel, Dell India, said "Distribution is one of our key business priority and this new strategic tie up with neoteric will further allow Dell commercial products to be available in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. This partnership is a joint effort to tap into the potential rich market opportunity that India holds - especially at the mid-market segment. The holistic nature of our end-to-end solutions portfolio complimented by strong reseller network of Neoteric will help to service the varied needs of customers with latest technologies."

Neoteric will be responsible for the product sales of Dell enterprise products in the market and further help promote, participate and extend the sale of the Dell products through promotional activities. Neoteric's network of 10,000 partners over 500 locations across India, will add to its strong distribution network across the country. "We are positive that this collaboration will help us achieve market leadership in the space and provide a greater variety to our current products and solutions offerings. Our access to Dell's product portfolio coupled with our extensive distribution network will help us to better understand and solve the end-to-end IT needs of our customers," said Paras H Shah, CEO, Neoteric.
