Dell India has introduced 'Emerging Markets' program to upkeep its long term focus on serving the growth markets of India. The company has identified 11 cities namely- Nasik, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Kochi, Chandigarh, Baroda, Nagpur, Vishakhapatnam, Jaipur, Mysore and Indore to devise its strategy for hyper growth.
The program is aimed at bringing Dell Solutions through partnerships with preferred partners to small and medium business customers in emerging markets. It will enable them to access Dell's end-to-end solution portfolio. It will also ensure that the partners receive an on-going training on latest technologies, enabling them to work with these customers as technology advisors rather than just product suppliers. The program has an option for partners to carry stock, which enables them to have quick turnarounds to the IT needs of these customers.
Ajay Kaul, director and GM, Global Commercial, India said " Emerging Cities are the next growth engine for Indian IT market and channel plays a very important role in serving our large business interests here. This program aims to develop key strategic partners per city to cater our Small and Medium Businesses customers. The introduction of ‘Local Mughals' program for our channel partners will enable the selected 15 partners to become end-to-end solution providers by getting access to entire range of Dell products"
Commenting on Dell's commitment towards the identified emerging cities in India, Vikas Bhonsle, GM, medium business, Dell India, stated, "The identification of Emerging Cities in the Indian market aims to focus on a deeper geographic coverage.
