DCI sets Offshore Performance Center in JV with Indchem

Decision Consultants Inc (DCI), a US-based IT service provider company to Fortune 1000 companies and government organizations has entered into a partnership with Chennai-based Indchem Software Technologies to set up DCI's Offshore Performance Center of Excellence (OPCOE) to be operated by Indchem Software. This offshore partnership is expected to reduce cost, time-to-implementation and minimize risk for DCI customers.

"We now have onsite, offsite and offshore capabilities, and the ability to create a delivery process that combines the best of each capability according to specific client needs. We selected Indchem as our offshore partner because it has the size and ability to grow and moreover we wanted a company, which did not have a major presence in US," said Nozer Buchia, Vice President and General Manager, DCI. The OPCOE is supposed to reduce the cost from 25 percent to 45 percent and improve the service level from 10 percent to 15 percent for DCI. This new venture has 30 DCI staff working in
OPCOE.
