Mumbai-based DC Infotech has set-up a
proof of concept demo center as a natural extension to the networking
products and solutions it was providing. The demo center will give
end-to-end security to customers ranging from SOHO, corporates to
home users. The center that has been set up in the office premises of
DC Infotech will be up and running by Jan 15.

Sharing further information, Chetan
Timbadia, Proprietor, DC Infotech said, “Many a times we lose
contracts to companies that provide electrical fittings, since as an
IT company we restrict ourselves to providing end-to-end networking.
Hence, we resolved to provide customers across various verticals
solutions ranging from networking, cables, electrical automation,
security automation and audio-video automation to meet their
requirements around meetings, presentations among others.”

Timbadia further elaborated that the
demo center would cover an area of 300 sq ft and has been designed to
give customers a look and feel of the kind of solutions that DC
Infotech can provide. Customers big and small will have 15-20 light
fittings, 4-5 audio-video range of solutions and automation solutions
to select from.

“The equipment cost incurred by us in
setting up the demo center alone is close to Rs12 lakh. Our aim is to
showcase a concept that can further help in integrating IT with other
products since this is a natural extension to our networking
business,” added Timbadia.
