A heavy duty speed dome camera, DX-371HOR-18H provides variable pan/tilt speeds ranging from a fast patrol of 250° per second to a slow ramble of 5° per second with 0.225° pan accuracy for fast and precise tracking ability. The 360° unlimited continuous rotation and 180° tilt travel capabilities ensure effective tracking of an object passing even directly beneath the camera. The camera has 18x optical and 12x digital zoom. The infrared LED in the camera supports night vision ranging more than 150 meters. Another salient feature is that up to 255 points can be preset and programmed, on HD resolution, for accurate coverage of target areas.

DX-371HOR-18H provides multiple alarms input and relay output, and the alarm management can be done through the network as well. DX-371HOR-18H supports H.264 and MJPEG dual streaming of up to 30 frames per second (FPS) in NTSC (National Television Standards Committee) format and 25 FPS in PAL (Phase Alternating Line) format. The camera supports double code stream and a low flow high quality image with minimum illumination of 0.5 Lux (color) and 0.02 Lux (B/W).

The web based installation of the camera makes its configuration and management easy. Management through web browser includes live viewing, video recording, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) control, preset settings, bandwidth control, image snapshot, digital I/O control, 2-way audio and remote upgradation of firmware.
