Dax networks to focus on security and surveillance

Dax network is likely to have their focus completely on the security and surveillance in the forthcoming financial year.

Speaking to ‘The DQ Week', Sudha Jagadish, CEO, Dax networks, said, "There are lot of things in the IP and we are venturing deeply in surveillance which is going to be the key focus area for the forthcoming fiscal. Also, recently, not just selling, we are also concentrating on training. In the current scenario, not enough trained people on the surveillance space." Earlier, Government was the one sector on which 70% of the business was coming for Dax. But, the vendor wants to concentrate on the SMB space in the coming days.

"Our brand is well-established and well-known everywhere. We are also having enough reference and with that brand impact, we want to crack the SMB space. Our training programmes are happening in Chennai, Kovai, Kochi and Hyderabad and very soon across the country", she said further adding that the company's focus on video surveillance is based completely on the growing demand from the market.

Solution-based packages:

Speaking on the technology, Sudha said that, Dax has understood the customer-needs well and packaged solutions are created and solutions will be offered as a package. "If our customer is a small retail-shop owner, we will have a solution specially designed for him/her that will meet all the needs of a retail shop", she said. On the storage of the video data, she said that the storage will be done on a micro-sd card and can be accessible with any given point of time. "Also, we have given special attention to the alarming system, 3-tier levels of storage and on top of that we can assure that any video can be directed to the exact location within 5 seconds", she concluded.
The vendor is looking at expanding their partner base across the country and looking for partners specialized in this vertical.
