Datapro to set up 200 'Web Academies'

Datapro, a brand in computer education has geared up to cater to the growing demand of professionals trained in e-commerce technologies. The company announced its plans to set up 200 Web Academies across the country. Datapro 'Web Academy' will exclusively offer Web technologies based courses and programs.

Of the 200 centers, Datapro has already singed up 25 centers in various parts of the country. Datapro intends to make all the Web Academies operational by end of year 2001. To ensure high quality of training as per international standards, Datapro is also setting up six 'Expert Centers' in major locations. The objective of these 'Expert Centers' will be to provide trained faculty and technical support to all the Web Academies irrespective of their location.

The setting up of 200 Web Academies is in addition to Datapros' plan to expand its computer education centers that were announced previously. Through a network of over 300 computer education centers, Datapro focuses on career courses, skill enhancement courses an professional courses ranging from a three month certificate program to a full fledged software engineering diploma. Datapro Centers are also Training Centers for various leading Software Vendors like Microsoft, Corel, Frontier Technologies, Novell, Visio, and Linux.
