D-Link leads market in switching, WLAN category

According to IDC report, D-Link scores in switching with regards to port shipment for two consecutive quarters. The company also leads the market share in WLAN category for Q4, 2012 from a unit shipment perspective

As per the recent tracking report released by IDC, D-Link leads the market share on port and unit terms, in switching and WLAN category, respectively in India.

The results for Q3 & Q4, 2012 have confirmed D-Link as a market leader in Switching with regards to port shipment for two consecutive quarters. The company also leads the market share in WLAN category for Q4, 2012 from a unit shipment perspective.

The report issued by IDC states D-Link holding #1 position in port-wise shipment of switches with 32.8% market share in Q3, 2012 and 36.1% market share in Q4, 2012 in India.

As per IDC, in Q4 2012 D-Link dominated the WLAN segment in terms of unit shipment with 40% market share in India.
