D-Link (India) has launched a suite of products that includes low cost IP phones, modem IP phones, terminal adaptors, gateways and gatekeepers/servers. All these have been developed in both H.323 and SIP standards as both of these protocols have been adapted by TRAI for the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services in India. D-Link has been working on developing equipment and solutions for the emerging VoIP market and the emphasis has been on innovations especially to suit the Indian market and low cost.
DPH-80, the low cost IP phone, is ideal for offices, which already have an Ethernet LAN. DPH-70 is a low cost modem IP phone suitable for homes and offices, which don not have a LAN but need to make long distance STD/ISD calls. DG-101 is a terminal adaptor, which plugs into the Ethernet at one end and the normal telephone instrument at the other end.
D-Link's VoIP gateways are designed with 2 channels /4 channels to suit individual needs and are ideal for offices with an Ethernet connection. D-Links Gatekeepers and servers are suited for ISP and medium/large enterprises.
