Speaking on the
challenges, which company might face in the initial phase, Hemal
Patel, CEO, Elitecore Technologies admitted, “Since the consumer
space is a new experience for both our sales and marketing teams,
hence delivering the right message to the mass audience will be a
little uphill task for us, that is why we are banking on our
distributor, Supertron. We will leverage its reach in 27 cities with
focus on the end customers. Apart from new customers, we are also
looking at the replacement market.” Talking about the partnership
with NetGenie,VK Bhandari, chairman and MD, Supertron Electronics
said, “The NetGenie product is already available with our master
resellers. We have appointed 10 resellers and looking to add another
15 in short time. To educate channel for this product, we will start
multi-city roadshows. Nevertheless, we do see challenges to reach to
the end customers.”
Moreover, to push this
product across India, we are strengthening our NetGenie team,
internally. Bishwajit Sutradhar, national sales manager, NetGenie
will be responsible for the sales and channel development. The
company has added 20 people in the R&D team, and will be hiring
40 new people for in-support, and 15 people for sales in India.
“Globally, we expect $200 mn revenue from NetGenie product line by
2013. In India, we expect to sell our products to approximately 2.5
mn by 2013, which would be approximately 25% of the potential market
in India,” said Patel.
