After launching the world's premiere 24x7 helpline backed anti-virus Easy 3S, Cyberastro (CAL) has appointed Lalani Infotech (LIL) as its distributor for the eastern market.

"Easy 3S's primary USP is the fact that it takes up little space in installation and doesn't slow down the PC. Also, it clears the temp files shortly after a scan and is able to detect virus in a much advanced proactive manner. However, the main part is that it is backed by a 24x7 helpline which any customer can avail at any time of the year," said S. Mazumdar, CEO and director of CAL.

With LIL in its fold, CAL is expecting to grow by 100% y-o-y in the eastern fringes and will be targeting both the upcountry as well as metro markets with the SOHO segment as its primary objective vertical. CAL is further ambitious in growing in the enterprise market as well shortly.

"LIL's primary advantage is its channel base across east through which we can easily secure our supply. Also, since LIL is not dealing with any other anti-virus companies, it may provide us a thrust in channels", Mazumdar added.

CAL has planned to expand its base across India and will be appointing another distributor for the northern market shortly after which west and south India is under the consideration.

"We have plans to cover all locations in India and not just focus on a particular geography; but the main part is that I am keen in introducing Easy 3S to the international market and talks are on with partners in Singapore from where we'll expand our global base", he added.
