Cyber Matrix visualizing the global integrated mapware

Cyber Matrix Enterprises Ltd, a Hyderabad based company providing solutions to CAD, GIS, Graphics arts, and network industries has got CAD/ GIS projects from Abu Dhabi, Belgium and UK. Currently the company is working on three projects for the above mentioned companies.

The company would be providing GIS support and electrical drawings for laying down of petroleum pipelines in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi gas project, which would be completed within one year is being executed for BAB NGL center and is expected to generate Rs 50 lakh to the company. "We are providing them all the GIS support needed to lay down pipe lines. India is fast becoming a major center for GIS activities as the cost of labor is much cheaper here." Said Farooq A Quraishi, Chairman and MD, Cyber Matrix.

The company is doing a project for Belgium based National Geographical Institute (NGI) and federal institute of mapping wherein it is going to provide digital elevation model of the area. It is also in the process of providing the GIS/CAD support to Stephen Tate, UK based company. "We are going to provide them a GIS solution starting from the contour lines, hydrology and spot heights. This project is going to help us in a big way in exploring the European market space," he explained.

Started in 1997, Cyber matrix is also into sales and marketing of high-end graphical peripherals. In India, the company has got the authorized distributorship of high-end products from Ringdale, a UK based company and Budde International, Calcomp, US based companies to sell their products. "We have provided high-end products like LED plotters, optical storage server, networking hardware, numonic digitizers and thermal plotters to customers like Satyam, Telco (Pune and Jamshedpur), Tata Elxsi, BHEL etc, in fact we have our presence felt where ever there is a need of GIS equipment," he added. 

With a workforce of 26 software engineers, the company had posted revenues of Rs 84 lakh last year and this year it is expecting to generate around Rs 1.4 crore.
