Company to launch its ERP solution-Nufina, in the market shortly
Cochin-based CSS Microsys is all set to launch their ERP solution-Nufina,
in the market, shortly. This marks the company's entry into high-profile
software business to make a fortune for itself and would be first IT hardware
reselling company in Kerala to develop and launch ERP software. Developed by
Numak Software Solution, a sister-company of CSS Micro-sys, Nufina is a
full-fledged enterprise business software targeted at the large and medium
companies.
"Presently, we have imple-mented it in three companies more on a trial
basis and the product is doing well there. Nufina will be a big hit in the
market as it is packed with all advanced features and at the same time priced
low to suit the customers' budget. Soon, we are planning to bring trimmed-down
version of Nufina which will be priced much more lower to tap the huge SMB
segment in the country. Nufina is a VAT-ready solution," said Sajin K John,
Director, CSS Microsys.
Currently, Nufina is available in the price band of Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh,
based on the features opted by the custo-mer. However, implementation charges
are extra. "Unlike other ERP software where the implementation cost runs
high (more than the product price), we are assuring the customers that it will
be only half-the-cost of the product with us and can implement it at the
quickest possible time," he claimed.
The unique feature in Nufina is 'event logging' where the customer can
track down the complete operations (entries) of the users by giving individual
log-in names.
The company is engaging both direct model and channel partners route to
market the product and it is eyeing the overseas market also, through system
integrators. "We have already appointed three system integrators in Kerala
to market our product and will be engaging more to reach the length and breadth
of the country. Meanwhile, we have also signed up with a company called Hemasco
in Dubai to address the Middle-East market," he detailed.
Sajin John has invested more than Rs 22 lakh to build the ERP product and
Numak Software Solutions was started about one-and-a-half years ago to work on
the project.
Today, the company has three clients-Koncherry Weavers, Alfab and Hardcore
Manufacturing Company. "We are targeting a revenue of Rs 1.5 crore in the
first year of operations and the next year, it would be Rs 7 crore," he
added.
