Computer Society of India, Delhi Chapter (CSI DC) recently organized a
daylong seminar on Information Security. Prakash Kumar, Special Secretary (IT),
Government of Delhi delivered the keynote address highlighting the need for
Information Security System in the changed IT environment and spoke of the
initiatives taken by the Government of Delhi.
The seminar was divided into three technical sessions. Rajendra Dhavale,
Consulting Director, Computer Associates spoke about the importance of security
information management with live examples of corporates. Neeraj Gupta, VP, BSI
spoke about the Global Framework for information security. He also discussed the
issues relating to information security systems implementations. Probal
Choudhuri, CEO, Coral e-Secure, spoke about security compliance metrics.
Speakers were presented mementos of CSI by office bearers.
