CSI-Mumbai to conduct CSI-Mumbai IT2020 Conference

CSI-Mumbai Chapter wil conduct ‘CSI-IT2020' conference in February 2014. The annual conference will addresses the IT community, IT industry, academicians, research personnel and entrepreneurs. 

KR Chaube, convenor, CSI-Mumbai said, "Forthcoming CSI will be a 2 day conference based on the theme ‘Technology, Now Delivering Value'. This time it is titled CSI-IT2020 Conference and is being scheduled on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th February 2014 at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay."

Chaube further said at the conference, IIT Mumbai would be an active partner and they would exhibit their various path breaking innovations and findings for the participants to view; besides they would be promoting ‘Spoken Tutorial' in association with Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) as part of its Mission for Education - Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

The conference has planned discussions on mobility, Big Data Analytics, Evolution of Data Centre technologies, Cloud Computing, and TechROI.

Technology and the value it delivers to various businesses remained an enigma for long. Efforts to ensure ROI from IT investments have been on for a while. A peep into the outcome of those efforts and above mentioned five topics presented in various tracks covering industrial verticals such as BFSI, IT Services, Retail, Healthcare and Logistics would form the thrust of the forthcoming conference.
