Computer Society of India (CSI), a body of IT professi-onals in the country

will conduct a National IT convention in Mumbai.

CSI Annual National Con-vention 2004 is a mega event planned with the aim to

share knowledge, new developments, industry experiences, new techno-logies and

products. To be held from Dec 1-4, 2004 it will bring tutorials from experts to

enable the learning of established tech-nologies, technology tracks, to give

broad overview of emerging areas, industry verticals, to share with experiences

and practices in major application domains, and keynote talks from visionaries

and leading researchers and panels on various issues relevant to us.

The convention will also get together CEO's and CIO's for strategizing

their IT plans. The plans are also for industry exhibitions to give first-hand

feel of R&D, new technologies and products. CSI'2004, with its theme

"IT++: The next gene-ration" will be a great opportunity for IT

professi-onals to learn and to share. The Inauguration will be done by V

Leeladhar, Deputy Governor RBI and keynotes by S Ramadorai, CEO, TCS.
