CSC targets larger growth

In its new incarnation as the Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), the Policy
Management Systems India Private Limited (PMSI) targets to grow into a much
larger and more diversified company, both in terms of industries serviced and
technologies offered.

Policy Management Systems India has the distinction of being the fastest
growing software development company in Central India.

Dr Arun Maheshwari, CEO, Computer Sciences Corporation India, told a press
conference on that Computer Sciences Corporation India was expected to grow from
the current 350 employees to about 1,000 in the next two years. In order to
propel its expansion plans, Computer Sciences Corporation India is setting up a
state-of -the-art offshore development center at Noida, which would be ready by
September, 2001. The company also plans to open an office in South India.

Commenting on the Computer Sciences Corporation India's growth plans, Dr
Maheshwari said, “ We have commitments from our parent company, Computer
Sciences Corporation, to start projects in healthcare, banking, chemicals and
other industries. We are also starting other cutting-edge technology projects,
which will further fuel our growth.”
