One of the well known

has announced the launch and
availability of the Rs 2.5 lakh Ultimate Dream PC, with a focus on
avid gamers. The three variants of the Dream PC are available for
order through Corsair national distributors, Aditya Infotech, Inspan
Infotech and Tirupati Enterprises.
The new range incorporates
fully modular cabling system, that are detachable from the power
supply to provide flexibility. The new range has Corsair Vengeance
memory. The company also introduced Corsair Audio HS 1 and HS 1A
gaming headset. Scott Thirlwell, Director-APAC, Corsair said, that
gaming in India is at a nascent state, but is exciting. "The
Dream PCs are for educated gamers, and we are optimistic about our
distributors, who really understand the gaming market," said
Thirlwell. "Corsair forecasts explosive double-digit growth for
the Indian PC gaming market in 2011 with over 10 million India gamers
spending five or more hours a week on online gaming," he added
MA Mannan, Country Head,
Corsair India said, that the new products will be distributed through
the existing distributors, and the company has no plans to add more
partners. Corsair is yet to specify sales targets for this new
product line. Ultimate Dream PC, Gamer Dream PC and Custom Dream PC
will also be available through retail stores Prime ABGB in Mumbai,
SMC International in Delhi and Sogo Marketing in Bengaluru. Corsair
and partners have selected the best PC gaming and digital
entertainment components available in India to create a masterpiece
of hardware, enabling Ultimate Dream PC pilots, split second sensory
advantages such as detection of enemy footsteps and reduced game lag,
resulting in offensive maneuver advantages.
