Chennai-based Consign Technology, providers of web-based solution for specialized markets mainly through ASP model, is working on building a new software tool for content management system. The new product, to be named CMS, will be launched in next couple of months. “Unlike our previous product (Finvest 2000), this is would be of generic nature and targeted at wide market,” said P Mahavir Chand, Director – Marketing, Consign Technology Pvt Ltd.
The company plans to open offices in Singapore and Middle East in the current fiscal and in the next stage, would be inaugurating business centers in Europe and South Africa.
“The market for Finvest 2000 is growing rapidly, both in India and overseas. Currently, in India, we expect to close deals with three major financial institutions, which includes a foreign bank,” he said. Consign is also in the advanced stages of negotiations with couple of companies in Singapore and Middle East to sell its Finvest product.
“The new CMS product would be coming in two versions, enterprise edition and retail edition. While enterprise version will be billed up to Rs 50 lakh based on the components taken by the customers, the retail module to be priced Rs 3 lakh,” said Chand.
Now, the company is launching platform-independent solutions to attract wide customer base and planning to tie-up with other software tool developers for integrating complementary products with its solution. “We’ll be integrating trading engine for stock brokers, back-end package for mutual fund customers and some CRM packages for financial market,” he said.
