Connect 2004 to focus on domestic ICT market

The fourth edition of Tamil Nadu's annual ICT show -
Connect 2004 will focus on the domestic enterprise ICT market in India.
Government of Tamil Nadu and the Con-federation of India Industry (CII) are
jointly organizing this event. Starting on September 22, this event would
conclude on September 25.

Briefing the media on Conn-ect 2004, Vivek Harinarain, IT
Secretary for Government of Tamil Nadu informed, "Now we are on the road to
push Tamil Nadu as the hub for ITeS and BPO companies. Connect 2004 will act as
a platform to project Tamil Nadu as an ideal desti-nation for companies to
invest in ITeS and BPO." He also stressed upon that there is no voice and
accent problem in Tamil Nadu.
