Conference for tech writers

The Society for Technical Communication (India Chapter) has announced its

sixth annual conference to be held in Chennai on December 3 and December 4,

2004. The conference is expected to attract about 250 technical writers and

communicators from all over the country. Chandra Sekaran, Executive VP and MD,

Cognizant Technology Solutions will inaugurate the conference. STC Region six

director-sponsors and James Romano Ph. D, President and CEO, Prisma

International, Inc Minneapolis, Minnesota will deliver the keynote address.

Other speakers include senior STC member Roger Dearth, director of Documentation

in the Server Technologies Divi-sion of Oracle Corporation Francisco Abedrabbo,

business development manager at Citec Information in Finland Katriina Valli,

Technical Publications Computer Associates Interna-tional, Inc manager Erin Bank

and others.
