The EC meeting will also focus on various agendas related to the association and member organization. The agendas will include renewal of personal accident policy which Confed-ITA offers to all its individual members. This time Confed-ITA has planned to extend its insurance policy to the family members of the organization. The individual members can also insure their staffs for low premiums. Starting from Rs 2 lac the accident policy will be available in low premiums to the family as well as staffs of channel partners and distributors.

Confed-ITA, a conglomeration of 25-districts association, also intends to take up online market issue in the upcoming EC meeting. The price disparity on consumer laptops, printers and other IT products between offline and online shops have significantly affected dealers and distributors across south India. C. Arumugam, secretary, Confed-ITA said, "Online shops provide IT products at tier-3 price, which is the dealer's price and much lower than what distributors or re-sellers have to offer." The online stores of vendor companies some time offer tier-3 price which upsets business of offline shops. Few days ago Confed-ITA raised this issue with HP when one of its members complained that the vendor's website is selling printers at much lower price. Confed-ITA approached HP with this issue resulting in the vendor company lowering its online store's product price. The online market price disparity has kept several IT associations on their toes. Confed-ITA wishes to discuss this issue further and approach to individual vendors to check on their online pricing.

Confed-ITA is also set to release its member directory in December. The directory will have names and contacts of all the members of the organization, which includes about 1300 members. The directory will also list the achievements, portfolios and profile of individual members. The database for the directory has already been collected by Confed-ITA.
