Confed ITA focuses on channel training

ITA issued a mandate to all its
member bodies to conduct training programs. Part of expenses towards
the training will be reimbursed by Confed-ITA. Under this program,
Tirupur IT Association (TITA) and Namakkal District Information
Technology Association (NDITA), have already conducted training.
Speaking on the need for educational initiatives for channel
partners, S Prakash, President of Confed-ITA and CEO of Vashini
Systems and Solutions said, “Trainings are provided only by a very
few vendors and that too for their exclusive channel partners. Other
than that training never reaches the needy channel partners."

"NDITA conducted a training
program in which Balakrishnan of BCS Infotech, Erode and former VP,
Confed-ITA spoke on the topic of management, while Babu of TITA
discussed insurance," said MP Ravichandran, President, NDITA and
MD of Surya Software Services. Topics related to management,
documentation, insurance, market awareness, and sales and services
were discussed in accordance with the relevance to the channel
partners in the training program.
