Computer Gallery has recently opened a

exclusive store in Bhopal. The store showcases the entire range
of Dell products and offers its customers a unique ambiance, which
helps them to get a hands-on experience of the products before
purchasing. “The Madhya Pradesh IT market has a lot of potential to
generate great revenue and Dell, Microsoft, Seagate, HP, Sony,
McAfee, APC are our principals. After opening a store exclusively for
Dell products in Indore, Bhopal was next on the list. This is
Bhopal's first Dell exclusive store,” said Sudir Arora, Director,
Computer Gallery. “The store is like a demo center, where Dell's
entire product range from Rs 90,000 to Rs 2,00,000 are on display.
Here, customers can get a 'touch and feel' experience before buying,”
he added.
The showroom has been designed and
developed by Dell's international team and is based on their global
design concept. “Because of the unique design, all Dell stores are
now same across the globe, but the size varies. In Bhopal, the
showroom is

and about 75 people have been employed to handle the store,”
said Arora.
The showroom that was inaugurated on
Feb 12, has got a great response so far from customers. “The
newly-launched store got an overwhelming response. Our channel
business has already experienced 10-20 percent growth. And, we are
expecting that there will be another 50 percent growth in the next
three months,” said Arora. As the city is home to many educational
institutions, 50 percent of the total demand comes from students.
“Notebook section has seen more demands as young professional and
college students prefer notebooks,” revealed Arora.
The IT industry in Bhopal has witnessed
a
href="https://www.dqweek.com/laptops-worth-rs-18-lakh-stolen-in-bhopal">few
theft incidents this year. In February, 41 laptops were stolen
from two of the city's most prominent dealers-Netlink Distributors
and Latest Information Technology. In January this year, 12 laptops
were stolen from another shop in the city. Computer Gallery is taking
no chances as far as the security of the shop is concerned. Arora
revealed that he has already installed CCTV cameras for electronic
surveillance. “Not just Bhopal, but the entire country is reeling
under security threats. We have taken strong measures for security.
Besides equipping the store with CCTV cameras, we have installed
censors, which are active after the shutters close. But there is no
surety that theft incidents will not occur,” said Arora.
Computer Gallery is planning to come up
with more such stores across Madhya Pradesh in the near future. While
plans are in the pipeline for new stores, Arora said that that it
will take another four or five months to implement them.
