The students said that the center had shifted its base from a shopping complex in MP Nagar, and the new whereabouts of the center was a mystery to them. Incidentally, when these students went to attend their regular classes, there was no one at the center.

This complaint comes on the heels of the center being closed for its alleged links with Dawood Ibrahim. The students had also complained of inadequate facilities at the center, especially the loss of teaching resulting from frequent power cuts at the center. They attributed the reason for these power cuts to the arrears the center had chalked up with the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board, and their non-payment thereof. Also, since the students say they have forked out more than Rs 40,000 each in fees for several courses that were being offered by Wintech Computer Center, they have a valid reason to be concerned not only about loss of their fees, but also the setback this incident has led to their careers.

The MP Nagar police say they have received a complaint against the institute, and senior officials were investigating the case.
