COMPEX-2014 ends successfully

The annual IT fair organized by ITTY of Puducherry garnered much response and profit for the IT partners in the district. The exhibition has helped the channel partners a lot to improvise and deliver a much better result in the future. The IT fair has given the channel partners' business a good mileage in terms of order enclosures, stock liquidation, and product inquires.

The mega Compex-2014 was inaugurated by Chief Minister Rangasami on 3rd January. The exhibition went on for three consecutive days. According to Compex committee the exhibition received an approximate twenty-five thousand footfall. D. Soundarapandian, secretary, ITTY-PDY, said, "Shopping at an attractive price buyers were benefited by gathering various product knowledge. Right from accessories , computers, to power conditioners, office automation and software packages all products earned a good revenue and future sale inquires."

Mr.Venour, President, Compex said, "Many prospective buyers had access to product information through internet on each stall. They could check their need of the specification and even the price on web pages." Besides, this year saw the crowd pull from nearby districts like Villupuram, Cuddalore and Chidambaram and there were a lot of order bookings and inquiries generated to all vendors, he adds.

Cisco being the main sponsor of Compex-2014, gave a presentation on their network products to the dealers through video conferencing.
