COMPASS to update and re-launch IT directory

It's been a wait for four years; the IT directory last published by Computer Association of Eastern India (COMPASS) was back in the year 2010. The association has decided to update the information and re-list the vendors, distributors, IT dealers and channel partners and publish a brand new directory by August 2014.

The collection of data is in progress and is expected to complete the data before COMPASS elects its new office bearers which have been preponed to be held in July this year. "We have already initiated the process of data collection through online and will have third party data collection agency for this," said Pawan Jajodia, president, COMPASS.

This directory will be published with new caliber and design that will help the industry and propel more growth prospects. "We already have good amount of IT companies data, which we will be sending out to companies for new changes and incorporate in the new directory. With much more information and data, this directory will be a ready reckoner and a must for all people across various industries. It will be available in both hard copy as directory and also in soft copy," added Jajodia.

The entire IT directory work will be managed and headed by Amit Sharma of COMPASS.
