COMPASS all set to roll Tech Fair 2013

COMPASS 2013, Eastern India's largest Tech Fair, is all set to strike off! Keeping the grand tradition alive, Compass2013 held its Press Meet at Hotel Hindustan International on 17th December to brief on many innovative initiatives that is making the expo bigger, better and more entertaining. The Meet was attended by Sanjay Chhajer, chairman-Exhibition Committee, Pawan Jajodia, president, Anil Bader, Convener-Exhibition Committee, Anup Agarwal, treasurer, Gopal Pansari, VP and Prakash Agarwal-Hony. The fair is organized each year by Computer Association of Eastern India at Milan Mela from December 20th to 23rd , 2013. Enormous infrastructure is being provided to build a platform for three entertaining events, 20 pavilions, 98 stalls and 74 participants. COMPASS 2013 provides a renowned stage to all its vendors and principal companies, IT channel partners, students, media agencies, business partners and end users.

The fair, now at its 16th year will be inaugurated by honourable IT Minister of West Bengal, Partha Chatterjee on December 20th, 2013.The Guest of Honour, Manish Gupta-Regional Sales Director, Dell India, shall grace the occasion as well. The fair has received tremendous support from their Sponsor-DELL, their Co-Spnsors-Microsoft and HP and all other Associate Sponsors who are pillars of success for this event.

"To encourage innovation and creativity, COMPASS 2013 has added a novelty to its cap by introducing world's first True Colour 3D Scanning and Printing Services. Durability, affordability and eco-friendliness are the key ingredients in making this product an instant eye catcher at the main event. For the first time in India, spectators can witness a live demonstration of 3D printing at the fair. This is a futuristic subject for printing industry," said Sanjay Chhajer, chairman-Exhibition Committee, COMPASS 2013.

There are three other sub-events which are expected to make this event unique in all respects. The Compass Gaming League, Inter-School Quiz and Tell-Me-How section has set the stage for the most happening Tech Fair in Eastern India.
The Meet also highlighted on the evolution of the fair since it started in 1997 at Ice Skating Ring, moving forward to Netaji Indoor Stadium and now finally at the Mila Mela Grounds from last two years. "Netaji Indoor Stadium was small, now it is one and half times bigger," added Chhajer. Chhajer also pointed that the event has taken a step ahead from being an IT fair to a Tech fair.

The theme of the fair, ICE-Information, communication and Entertainment focuses on technology's role in the evolutionary road of communication and entertainment. "We have included Desktops, Laptops, Mobiles, Tablets, Digital Cameras, Smart Televisions, Home Theatres, Office Automation, ERPs and Dot Coms, Animation, Gaming, Digital Media, CCTV, Security Systems and much more," said Pawan Jajodia, president-COMPASS 2013.

Since technology is an evolutionary subject, the aim of this fair is to make the concept of technology simpler and reach the hands of the common man. "The fair strives to act as a bridge between the Tech makers and the prospective buyerS," added Jajodia.
