Kanpur-based Comexcell

company is optimistic about its future growth and would penetrate

into tier-3 cities and upcountry markets. Comexcell caters close to

60 percent of the total hardware business of Kanpur and operates in

the state's entire IT market. The company generates an annual revenue

of around Rs 12 crore from sales in Uttranchal and Rs 75 crore from

Uttar Pradesh.

Speaking to The DQ Week

on emerging as Uttranchal's top dealer, Rohit Kohli, CEO, Comexcell

Technologies said, "We have been in Uttranchal for the last

couple of years, and most of the sales come from Dell laptops and

accessories." Kohli attributes this success to the partnership

with Dell as well as a shift in consumers' choice from desktops to

laptops."We will try to remain on top, and get deeper into the

tier-3 cities and upcountry markets," he added.
