CMR Student wins Digithon Leader of the Month award

Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) announced Digithon Leader of the Month award for the month of September. CMR Technical Campus 3rd year Student Nikhil Gunda received the Telangana Digithon's Leader of the Month award for the month of September by IIIT - Basar Vice Chancellor Satyanarayana & TITA President Sundeep Kumar Makthala.

'Telangana Digithon' is the TITA's flagship program to promote digital literacy in Telangana State. ‘Telangana Digithon’ is aimed at narrowing the digital literacy gap that persists in Telangana State by providing digital literacy trainers called ‘Digital Leaders’. Digital Leaders will follow a fully-developed curriculum to teach. Each ‘Digital Leader’ will receive a certification and will choose a specific area of the community to work with.

Nikhil leads the digital leader's dashboard by giving digital literacy training to 391 people in Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy Districts.

"TITA has trained 3784 Digital Leaders so far and it will reach the goal of 10,000 Digital Leader very shortly." said Makthala.

TITA Vice President Ranapratap Bojjam, General Secretary Ashwinchandra Vallaboju, Srinivas Goud, Joint Secretary Kiran Mittakola, Vivek Boddem, Kiran Jetty, Ramesh Podishetti, KLN Rao, Srikanth Puram, and others present in the presentation ceremony.
