CMC Ltd, an IT solutions company and provider of computer education in India, has entered into an alliance with National Technological University (NTU), Raipur for launching its Bachelors degree program, B.Sc. (IT) and MCA - a five year integrated Masters degree program. CMC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NTU to offer these courses on an exclusive basis.
B.Sc. (IT) is a three-year, six-semester program for 10+2 pass-outs. Students who complete CMC's two-year DAST program would get lateral entry into the third year of B.Sc. (IT) program of NTU. Similarly, MCA (integrated) is a five-year program for 10+2 pass-outs, and students who complete B.Sc. (IT) of this University or graduates who complete CMC's DAST or PGDCA program would get lateral entry into the fourth year of MCA (integrated) program of
NTU.
While these courses would be offered to the new students, they would also be available to CMC's ex-students and existing students alike. Admission to the first session of B.Sc. (IT) is open at all centers of CMC, across the country. The first session for B.Sc. (IT) would start on September 1, 2003 and the last date for the admissions would be August 22 or August 29 2003, with late fee.
