Cisco outlines channel direction for the next fiscal

As head of Cisco's Channel business in India, B Raghavendran, VP-Channel
Operations and Commercial Strategy, Cisco India & SAARC highlighted his
priorities for FY'10 based on nurturing and growing Cisco's relationship with
its partner community and ensuring partner profitability.

In addition, Raghavendran also reiterated several other key priorities such
as building the collaborative channel, partner model transforma-tion, and
business simplification and optimisation amongst others, which would be the key
drivers to deliver on Cisco's 'Together We Lead' approach for Cisco's partner
community in the country.

Commenting on Cisco's Partner Strategy for FY'10, Raghavendran said, "As we
enter FY'10 and align with our goals for the country, Cisco will organize the
channel team around key architectures, segments, new markets and business models
in order to provide the thought leadership necessary to position Cisco and our
partners for growth. Working closely with other teams within Cisco, we will
evolve our partner programs and incentives to increase Cisco's relevance for all
partner types, resale, technology and service-led, and expand our offer types to
meet the needs."
