unique features of these routers include the parental controls for
each device or computer. It also has the option to block a particular
site, which is not readily available in the current market. Talking
about the presence in the market Subramaniam said, “ We have 32 RMA
centers and our distributors are spread across 200 cities. For the
distribution of the product we will be working closely with our
partners and provide them with full support.” Explaining
more about the product Subramaniam added that with the quick and easy
set up, the software automatically enables security and assigns a
unique network name. Once those are configured users can use the
Cisco connect to easily manage their wireless home networks for
various purposes like adding multiple Internet capable devices to the
network and giving visitors password protected Internet
accessibility. He also added that the routers are designed
specifically to suit the individual requirements of users and can
connect devices including notebooks, wireless printers, HDTVs and
game consoles such as PlayStation and Xbox. The E-series routers come
in three different models,E1000, E2000 and E3000. While the E1000
would be available at Rs 5,999, E2000 is priced at Rs 7,999. Linksys
E3000, the high-performance wireless router (dual-band) would be
available at Rs 10,999.
