Cisco announces incentive program for certified partners in India

Cisco Systems has announ-ced a new Wireless Sales Leap Incentive program for
Cisco certified partners, exclu-sively for India. According to the press
release, the program provides up to a 7 percent reb-ate to qualifying partners,
who achieve the program objectives during a six-month program period.

The eligibility criterion requi-res the partner to be a current Cisco WLAN
specialized part-ner at the time of enrollment in the WLAN Sales Leap Incen-tive
program and the partner must maintain specialization during the program
timeframe. Partners must be enrolled between December 24, 2003–January 24,
2004 and they need to maintain the necessary spe-cializations required for the
program, as of the program period end of June 24, 2004.

Those partners who partici-pated in WLAN Sales Leap Incentive program must be
specialized by the program end if their specialization has expired during the
program period in order to be eligible for the rebate.Commenting on the new
program, Jagdish Mahapatra, Business Develop-ment Manager–India & SAARC,
Cisco Systems said, "This exclusive six month long India specific program
has been designed to increase the margins that Cisco channel partners realize
when resell-ing Cisco WLAN products. The program rewards Cisco specialized
partners for their investment in WLAN."
