The monitors' market grew multifold and one company that made an impact is AOC. It focused on its weakness and leaped to number one position this year from 3rd position last year. The growth triggered by consistent and effective communication with channel partners managed to offset the apprehensions among partners of its product unreliability- though it is still remains one of the bottlenecks. The company increased its partner base to around 3000 resellers and also focussed on reaching tier 2 cities.

The overall India PC Monitor market is estimated to be more than 6 million units. The technologies in markets include Android-based products like Android smart monitor and Android AIO. Though the market  still remains nascent at this stage, the demands are expected in the coming year due to the awareness in the touch segment.

LG remains dominant in this market with highest market share, according to some of the reports available, though the recent surge in AOC service, we give more points to the AOC. AOC has also started training and certification process for its partners apart from allocation of funds for marketing-co-op funding.

Dell made a benchmark in this segment by coming in the rankings. The overall PC push embarked a new era for Dell PC monitors along with its expertise in technological leadership of the product. One of the important reasons for Dell to come in is its flexibility in conducting localised promotions. Also price was at parwith the performance of its products.

LG slipped some places in the rankings though it still has the technological leadership and diversity of the products. The weakness per se was non-friendliness in the online queries for its partners.
