Planet Technology Corporation announced the new Triplex
4/16-channel digital video recorder (DVR-450/1650). The DVR-450/DVR-1650
supports up to 4/16 cameras and on the other hand, it is designed to be a
professional type of security device. Video data recording, remote surveillance
over a secure IP network and viewing/recording/playback at the same time are key
features to a full-time security application.

Both the DVR-450/DVR-1650 provides triplex DVR selection of
IP surveillance products to meet more application demands. The network DVR can
be placed either in a LAN or WAN connection with easy-to-remember DDNS feature.
With web browser Plug-N-Watch capability, a network administrator or system
operator can seamlessly complete network deployment in simply minutes.

Utilizing the advanced motion JPEG video compression
technology, the M-JPEG files present vivid, sharp and high-quality videos. In
the meanwhile, the video files are digitized and delivered by the powerful
microcomputer in the network DVR. With bundled utility, the DVR-1650/450 is
fulfilled to save TOC for enterprise users.

In various surveillance applications via RS-485 interface,
the network DVR is capable of controlling 13 types of PTZ protocol. It has
integrated alarm I/O, and can detect, record, ring a siren. The network DVR can
also do motion detection/schedule recording to complete surveillance plans.
