As part of its expansion plans, Cerebra Integrated Technologies, will shortly launch new products and a networking division. Under the new division, the company plans to launch PDAs, set top boxes, Web appliances, servers and notebooks targeted at the SME segment. This division will also carry Quality of Service (QoS) bandwidth products and high-end networking products.
Gururaja K Upadhya, Director (Technical support), Cerebra said, "Products from the new division will be distributed in the market by Cerebra's authorized channel network." Currently, the company has around 300 channel partners spread across the country. According to Gururaja, this unit of Cerebra will evaluate, introduce and manufacture new products based on potential and market survey feedback.
The division will however complement the existing facilities of Cerebra and will progressively introduce a range of products and services in due course of time.
The company claims to be in talks with some US-based companies and will be introducing a range of products under the QoS umbrella shortly. Cerebra's PDAs, to be launched in the Indian market by early next month, is priced at Rs 10,000.
According to the company, this price tag is the cheapest compared to other brands in the same category.
The company has also launched a range of P4 motherboards, including the Micro ATX and ATX. These motherboards will be shortly submitted for ETDC certification for approval and will be launched in the market by early next month.
