Like every year, Chennai Electronics and Information Technology Association (CEITA), has mooted their social welfare activities.
Speaking to ‘The DQ Week', H Chandalia, secretary, said, "On the lines of the appeal made to the public from our Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, we had organized a water hut where every day mineral water cans will be placed in the Ritchie street for the people who come to the market". Telling that around 30 Thousand people move in the street, Chandalia said that the association is planning to organize more such activities for the welfare of the public and members.
"Apart from the cultural activities organized recently, we have also planned for a ‘holy darshan' for our members where we will take the members to most of the holy places in the East by train and air at a very nominal cost" , Chandalia further added.
The association has also planned to conduct cricket matches on a regular basis and have also planned to increase the connectivity not within their members but also with the neighboring associations.
