Chennai-based CCS Infotech Ltd, a leading system builder in south India, has
announced major expansion plans, including expanding its operations in the
overseas markets, to increase its revenues. The company has projected a turnover
of Rs 32 crores in the current fiscal year.
CCS Infotech which already has a subsidiary in Singapore for dealing with
Toshiba notebooks, NEC laptops and other components like modems & networking
products, will now focus on UK and Sri Lanka for expanding operations. The
company is sourcing products from Taiwan and China for captive consumption.
"We are investing around Rs 1 crore for this expansion plans," said MA
Hasan Abdul Khader, Director, CCS Infotech Ltd.
CCS has 12 branches and 25 channel partners across the country, selling over
7,000 PCs every year. "Soon, we are planning to appoint 30 more channel
partners in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry to increase our sales and the new
alliances will bring additional 25 percent revenue to the company," he
said. The company has recently got a major order from BSNL, Metro Water and
National Aeronautics Ltd.
CCS is a listed company in the Mumbai and Kolkatta stock exchanges. The
company has registered a turnover of Rs 28 crore in the last fiscal.
