CCDA elects new team

Natarajan of Microbase has been elected as the President of The Coimbatore
Computer Dealers Association (CCDA) in the elections held re-cently at
Coimbatore. Besides that the team of five other offi-ce bearers were also
elected.

While announcing their agenda for the forthcoming year, the new team promised
to bring the prices under con-trol so that dealer can get a fair margin. The new
body also showed interest in regular tec-hnology updates to keep the dealer
community tuned to new technology that could be implemented in their business.

Control over payment defa-ults by cautioning dealers against dealing with
known defaulters, streamlining of the hitherto erratic service char-ges, charged
by dealers from their customers are also on their agenda. Another project on the
anvil is the CCDA website, which they plan to make functional by the end of
their term.

Considering it a challenging job Suresh, VP, CCDA said, "Rea-lisation of
the above mentio-ned objectives is a challenge."
