Caps to be exclusive distributor for Simmtronics in TN and Karnataka

Coimbatore based E Caps Pvt Ltd has tied up with Simmtronics India for
exclusive distributorship of their mem-ory components and will sup-port the
Tamilnadu and Karna-taka regions through their network offices in Chennai,
Bangalore and Coimbatore.

Simmtronics India, a wholly owned subsdiary of Memory Component Corpn, USA
curre-ntly enjoys leadership status in the Indian market for RAMs. Last reported
in the Economic Times of May 21st 2004, the company had a phenomenal 90 percent
share of the market.

Caps' strength and expertise in providing networking solu-tions to
Corporate organiza-tions and large educational institutions over the last 11
years, and its support and sales presence in key regions in the South, makes
this a very firm partnership.

According to G Suresh, Technical Director, E Caps, "the association with
Simmtronics is a positive breakthrough for dealers, since it will help to a
large extent, stabilize price across the regions." Also since, the support
and replacement mechanism will be centralized through the Caps network, the
response levels will be quicker and hence resulting in overall satisfaction
amongst its customers "The guarantee now, of genuine components is also
assured," he added.
