Canon India Pvt Ltd has announced the launch of its photo retail stores in
Delhi called the 'Canon Digiclick zone'. These stores will be interactive
zones where consumers can expe-rience and enjoy digital photography and further
understand and satiate their curiosity on the various possibilities in digital
imaging.
According to the press release, spread over 250 sq feet area , the Canon
Digiclick Zone located in Paschim Vihar and Sarojni Nagar has on display the
entire range of Canon Digital Cameras and digital products. The company has set
this up as separate experiential zones , which will allow custo-mers to
experience the Canon digital products in a lifestyle ambience.
Commenting on the open-ing, Shyam Sunder, Senior Manager Marketing, digicam
products, Canon India said, "The idea of setting up the Digiclick Zone is
to allow customers to interact with the product more closely. These digiclick
zones also project Canon's brand equity, techno-logy and the complete line-up
of digital camera products under one roof." He added, "The ambience
matches Canon's standing, there is the entire collection of products,
extremely well-trained staff to explain, and, there is a `no-push' environment
here. The aim is to create product aware-ness and enable informed
purchase."
The Digiclick Zone show-cases Canon's latest range of digital camera like
digital cameras, video DV camco-rders and SLR wide-angle zoom lens for both the
consu-mer and professional segm-ents. The digiclick zone showcases industry's
first digital camera targeted at the youth - PowerShot A400. The other digital
cameras show-cased here are PowerShot range, Digital IXUS range along with
Selphy direct printers. The new range of camcorders including MV 700 series is
also exhibited.
