Canon launches true value service pack

Canon India has announced the launch of its ‘True Value Service Pack’ for
Canon partners-a mix of traditional click rates and Annual Mainte-nance
Contracts (AMC). Claim-ing to be the first of its kind initiative in the
customer care, the company said that this initiative would help Canon build long
lasting relationships with its customers.

Explaining the scheme, Laks-hmi Narayan Rao, Assistant Director (Marketing
OSS value) Canon India, said, "Canon is committed towards providing its
customers cutting edge technology and products that enhance the efficiency and
productivity of their organiza-tions. With the launch of this True Value program
we will now be able to provide our cus-tomers an array of customer friendly
service options that will help them maximize the performance of their imaging
equipment while simultaneou-sly reducing their cost of operations."

Highlighting the benefits of the Canon True Value service program Rao added
that the True Value Pack presents a truly win-win situation for the custo-mers
and partners. This scheme not only offers the customers value with a standard
run cost but also guarantees partners a lucrative service income package.

Rao said that the value MFDs is the convergence between the traditional
analog copier mar-ket and the digital printers. And this new scheme is based on
the service approach from both the worlds-copier and IT market.

Rao said that with this offer, customer will benefit approxi-mately 20
percent to 25 per-cent on the running costs and its service partner stands to
gain by selling more genuine consumables and create a brand loyalty. Canon is
looking at upping its market share from present 27 percent to 31 percent plus by
this half-year end.
