Canon channel partners now wear a WIDE smile spreading from October right until the end of December and the reason is the Canon Grand Slam and Super Slam channel program, organized by Canon India Ltd, for its Canon Premium Partners and the Canon Festival Bonanza for Canon Empowered Partners.

"Winners at the Canon Grand Slam and Super Slam will be taken to Australia or South Africa. The Canon Festival Bonanza winners get Tanishq jewelry ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 31,000. Alternatively, they can choose between analogue and digital cameras," said DR Bhaskaran, Senior Manager - South (Consumer, Image and Information Division), Canon India Pvt Ltd.

The Canon channel schemes are on all models of Canon printers and scanners. All that the Canon channel member needs do is to register as a participant in the scheme and earn himself an immediate bonus of five points. He/she then has to make the remaining 20 points which depends on the quantity of sales on Canon products done during the three months.

"These Canon channel programs are being organized all over India and the objective of the same is to talk to more channels and motivate them to sell more of our products," added

Canon had conducted a similar channel program last year, which proved to be a success, and the company hopes that this years channel program would reap similar dividends.

For the end-user, Canon is offering a Canon Calculator free with Canon BJC-2100SP color printer that is available at a special festival price of Rs 3,395. The printer also comes with a two-year warranty.
